Colombia – Chosen in the United Kingdom as one of the Top Countries to Visit
Thanks to the travelers’ choice, Colombia won the silver medal in this year’s awards granted by the tourism magazine Wanderlust.
After comparing their tourism destinations in 2013, readers of the British magazine Wanderlust decided to name Colombia the second “best country” to visit.
The award ceremony was held in London during the Times Destinations Holidays & Travel Show, where every year Wanderlust announces the contest’s winners in addition to the cities, agencies and airlines that are also awarded.

Disney Cruises will Return Tomorrow to Colombia
After nearly four years, the Disney cruise line returns to Colombia with the inauguration landfall, in Cartagena, of one of its most significant ships.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 18, the Disney Wonder Cruise will arrive to the historical port with nearly 2,700 passengers on board, the first group that arrives to the country with the cruise line since 2008.

The event, which was attended by over 30 UK travel professionals, formed part of Colombia’s 28 day awareness campaign in London. The tourism drive has incorporated a month long taker over of the National Geographic Store in London and a number of pop up events at Victoria Train Station, Westfield Stratford and Harrods.
