I Love NY Spring by Colombia

Spring arrives in NYC with Colombian flowers and special offers to travel to the country of Magical Realism!

This weekend 10 bicycles will be all around Manhattan carrying 4,000 beautiful Colombian flowers and special discounts including air tickets, travel packages and Juan Valdéz Café products.

This Saturday May 28th and Sunday 29th, New Yorkers will be able to know Colombia and its wonders more closely. 10 “Colombia is Magical Realism” branded bikes will be brightening the streets from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Colombia Invites Visitors to Celebrate Its Folklore and Culture

As a reflection of the country's history and the customs and personality of each region, the traditional fairs and festivities in Colombia showcase the architecture of the towns, streets and cities that invite foreigners every year to join the celebrations in the country.

The festivities of San Juan and San Pedro in Huila, the Folklore Festival in Ibague, the National Coffee Festival, and the Villa Jazz Festival in Villa de Leyva are some of the celebrations that will take place in June, ranging from traditional and folkloric to world-class events.

The Dutch airline returns to Colombia with regular flight frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, thanks to the support of ProColombia, OPAIN, and AEROCALI.

Aiming to bring Dutch tourists closer to the unique experiences available in Colombia, KLM is back to the country with the Amsterdam-Bogota-Cali route.

According to KLM, three weekly frequencies will open servicing 318 passengers per flight every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday thanks to the support of ProColombia, OPAIN, and AEROCALI.

Surfing along the astonishing vegetation in the Colombian Pacific coastline and exploring the culture of legacy towns are but some of the unique experiences available in Colombia, which 24 companies from six different departments will showcase at ITB 2015 in Berlin, a tourism international fair that gathers more than 10,000 exhibitors from 180 markets every year.

For both domestic and international tourists, the new version of the website provides information on more cities and allows you to plan your trips and access a database of companies in the sector.

Aiming to give a greater amount of practical information to travelers, the revamped version of www.colombia.travel portal provides access in six different languages to domestic and international connections as well as details of 1,294 companies in the tourism sector, including hotels, tour operators and restaurants.

Through the website, designed for both domestic and international travelers, tourists have access to information on 285 cities in all regions of Colombia, where the previous website had only 20 destinations in 11 states.
