Colombia, one of the most beautifully diverse country’s in the world will be taking over London’s National Geographic Store for an entire month this summer.

The 28 day event is set to showcase the warmth of the Colombian people, the richness of the country’s architecture, the awe inspiring vistas and the phenomenal cultural spectrum that Colombia has to offer.

With something to offer every type of tourist – from the trend hunters and cool kids to the culture vultures and intrepid explorers, Colombia’s programme of events in London will include interactive meet and greets, book readings, live music, dancing, photo exhibitions, coffee tastings and so much more.

Running from Thursday 19th July – Thursday 16th August 2012 at the London National Geographic Store on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, this is an opportunity for aspiring and seasoned travelers alike to come together and learn just how much Colombia has to offer.

“The UK market is incredibly important to Colombia, last year we saw an incredible 40% increase in UK visitors, and we want to maintain that momentum. London’s National Geographic Store is a fantastic venue and we are delighted to be working alongside them to bring just a little taster of Colombia to Britain. We hope to illuminate the country’s phenomenal diversity in terms of landscape, culture and history and share our zest to welcome more Brits year on year”, commented Juan Guillermo Perez, the Director of PROCOLOMBIA – Colombia’s Tourism, Foreign Investment and Exports Promotions Agency – and the brains behind the four week Colombian extravaganza.
