The company’s two young founders, Carlos Rocha and Nitae Uribe, both systems engineering students, set a goal for themselves: Find their passion and make a living out of it. They enrolled in a video game research incubator at the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, where they learned how to become developers, and by July of 2010, they had founded their own company.

Their hard work and dedication earned them a visit by Sony. “They liked our concepts, so they gave us project developer kits for PlayStation platforms”, stated Carlos Andres Rocha, Executive Director of the Company.

The research incubator program where they participate now, allow participants to strengthen their technical knowledge regarding Sony’s console hardware. The corporation provides them with the necessary equipment and gives them access to their network of companies.

They are adapting their Words Warriors game for the PlayStation Vita console, and expect to have it ready for public by next year. “This is a brain-teaser game where the main character walks on words, while these words come to life. It's a story that combines adventure and mystery”, stated Rocha.

These business deals allowed them to increase their staff from 5 to a total of 14.

“Although the United States is the main destination for Colombian video game developers thanks to the support of the National Government, the entrepreneurs in this sector have also diversified their exports towards other markets, like Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Asia”, said the President of PROCOLOMBIA, Maria Claudia Lacouture.

That’s how we got started and how we’ve had success as our concept is different. As a result, our first video game had 30 thousand downloads in just one month,” stated the Executive Director of the Company.
