Colombia Sets a New Standard at SOURCING at MAGIC 2025 with Largest-Ever Delegation

From vertically integrated powerhouses to cutting-edge digital pioneers, Colombia’s presence is more than just an exhibit, it's a reflection of the future of global sourcing.
Las Vegas, August 6th, 2025 – At this year’s SOURCING at MAGIC (August 18–20, Las Vegas Convention Center), Colombia is stepping into the spotlight with an unprecedented delegation of 18 companies, its largest and most diverse to date. With a clear focus on technology, sustainability, and innovation, the Colombian pavilion (Booths 81517–81620) powered by ProColombia, the promotion agency of the country bringing the delegation to Nevada, will showcase why the country is fast becoming a top destination for fashion sourcing in the Americas.
“We want buyers to think of Colombia as a new and reliable face of fashion sourcing”, stated María Camila Castellanos Espitia, international trade expert and Executive Director of ProColombia in the United States. “As the fashion industry continues to move towards smarter, more agile, and more ethical supply chains, Colombia is a key nearshoring partner for brands looking to reduce lead times, lower risk, and meet evolving consumer expectations”.
With lead times as short as 30–45 days, flexible MOQs, and duty-free access to the U.S. for eligible products under the Trade Promotion Agreement, Colombia’s textile and apparel industry offers speed, quality, and cost efficiency, without compromising on values.
“Colombia’s commitment to sustainability, digital transformation, and social impact resonates with today’s fashion brands that seek more than just manufacturing, they seek meaningful partnerships”, said Carmen Caballero, President of ProColombia.
Tech-Driven Visionaries Lead the Charge
And that’s just the beginning. As technology takes center stage at this year’s event, various Colombian companies are standing out for redefining what innovation in fashion sourcing looks like.
CREYTEX is leveraging 3D technology throughout its entire value chain, from design and sampling to e-commerce and even virtual runway presentations. Their production model is equally forward-thinking: powered by energy-regenerating machinery and engineered to significantly reduce water and electricity use.
Meanwhile, Crystal is building one of the most advanced digital ecosystems in the region. Their fully integrated platform includes AI-driven fabric simulation, automated color matching, and computer vision for quality control. Through proprietary tools developed in-house, they’re optimizing every stage of the process, enhancing traceability, reducing waste, and putting real-time data and AI into the hands of decision-makers on the factory floor.
These companies exemplify a new generation of Latin American manufacturers, rooted in tradition yet boldly future-forward.
A Delegation Built for Modern Brands
Colombia’s 18-company delegation at SOURCING at MAGIC 2025 highlights the country’s wide-ranging capabilities across the fashion industry, from activewear, swimwear, and shapewear to uniforms, textiles, and leather goods. “Whether buyers are launching a boutique label or scaling a major retail program, Colombian suppliers offer end-to-end solutions and agility that global fashion brands demand today”, said Castellanos Espitia.
This year marks the first appearance of Fabricato, a company with more than 100 years of textile experience and a strong reputation for quality and innovation. Also featured are Miratex and Textiles Acrilan, long-standing leaders in fabric and knitwear, known for their integrated operations and consistent delivery for both legacy and new brands.
For brands focused on sustainability and premium quality, AVSTUDIO offers end-to-end manufacturing in activewear and lingerie with flexible minimums. Tulum Fashions and LÁU DE LÁ showcase the craftsmanship and creativity behind Colombia’s swimwear and resortwear, with a strong focus on hand-made detail and design. And with over four decades of experience, Balsa brings a full in-house leather goods operation that blends tradition with continuous product innovation.

A Proven Export Powerhouse with Room to Grow
Colombia’s apparel exports reached US$ 125.2 million in the first trimester of 2025, with the U.S. accounting for 41% of that total. The country's most exported categories include shapewear, swimwear, underwear, and casualwear, all of which will be on full display at MAGIC.
The country’s rise is no coincidence. More than 550 apparel companies in Colombia exported products in 2025, supported by vertically integrated infrastructure, skilled labor, and government-backed trade platforms. This growing momentum makes now the right time for buyers to rethink sourcing strategy with Colombia in mind.
