Pro-Barranquilla takes on regional directorate of WAIPA

540 business meetings were held in Plataforma K in Barranquilla

These were the observations made by all of the attendees at Plataforma K-2011 in Barranquilla, in its business round that generated business opportunities of over US$1.2 million among the 31 international buyers and the 80 Colombian exhibitors, four percent more than in 2010.
Expotrópica 2011 in Pereira, inspired Colombian flower growers
A total of 55 exhibitors and 46 local buyers, among other stakeholders in the flower, foliage and tropical fruit production chain in the coffee region; took part in the first edition of Expotrópica 2011, where PROCOLOMBIA participated with the support of several regional entities.
This event carried out in Pereira between March 24th through the 27th, had the purpose of positioning tropical flowers in both national and international markets.
The Pacific-Colombia Tour Started in Bogotá
144 national and international golf players will begin the second round of the Pacific Colombia Tour, a tournament co-sponsored by the Tour of the Americas (TLA) and the Canadian Tour, which will give US$130 thousand dollars in prizes. The tour comprises five tournaments in different cities in the country. During the next months the tour will visit Medellin, Bucaramanga and Cali, after its start in Barranquilla.

Ecuadorian companies will participate in the investment seminar in the duty free zones and regions in Colombia
Nearly 80 Ecuadorian companies will participate this Thursday and Friday in the seminar "Investment Opportunities in Colombia: duty free zones and regions", organized by PROCOLOMBIA and supported by ANDI and the duty free zones in the country.
The goal of the event is to divulge the benefits and incentives offered by Colombian government to potential foreign investors through duty free zones.
