This professional golf tour encompasses five tournaments in different cities in the country, which already started in Barranquilla. The event will help consolidate the country as an international destination for the practice of this sport in Bogotá.

144 national and international golf players will begin the second round of the Pacific Colombia Tour, a tournament co-sponsored by the Tour of the Americas (TLA) and the Canadian Tour, which will give US$130 thousand dollars in prizes. The tour comprises five tournaments in different cities in the country. During the next months the tour will visit Medellin, Bucaramanga and Cali, after its start in Barranquilla.

Tournaments like the Pacific Colombia Tour, with the support of PROCOLOMBIA, with the participation of Cody Slover, will consolidate the country as an international destination for the practice of the sport. The Bogotá Open was played less than a month ago in the country's capital city, the only one in South America that is part of the PGA Tour.

Slover, a member of the Canadian Tour for four years, was the winner of the Pacific Colombia Tour in Barranquilla, where the best players in Colombia, the Americas and part of Europe also participated.

The Colombia Tour location in Bogota is Club Guaymaral, where hundreds of players will compete for the title and to win points in the world golf-ranking scale.

The three remaining tournaments will take place at Club El Rodeo in Medellin, Ruitoque Golf Country Club in Bucaramanga and Club Campestre de Cali, during the third and fourth weeks of October and the first week of November, respectively.

Colombia, as an international Golf destination, offers its visitors over 50 challenging and entertaining courses, considered among the best in Latin America.  They were created with magical and exotic contours by famous foreign designers like Robert Trent Jones, Gary Player, Mark Mahannah and Jack Nicklaus, among others.

The quality of Colombia's golf courses and the enchantment of its landscapes promise to deliver an unforgettable experience for tourists.
