Colombian Beauty Companies Bring Innovation at Cosmoprof North America

ProColombia, the promotion agency of the country, is leading - for the third year in a row- a delegation of 9 companies, 6 with skincare and 3 with haircare products.

Las Vegas, NV. July 23nd, 2024For a third year in a row, a delegation of 9 Colombian companies in the beauty industry will participate in the 21st edition of Cosmoprof North America, promoting Colombia’s high potential to develop from products to ingredients for the industry. The event will take place in Las Vegas 2024, from July 23rd to 25th.  Colombia’s skin care products will be displayed in booth #6252 and the Hair care in booth #42067. 

Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) is the leading business-to-business (B2B) trade show in the Americas. The event offers the entire beauty in-dustry an opportunity to come together, make new relationships, and fos-ter collaboration. The trade show is a robust platform that has the contin-uous support and presence of key industry entities and leading beauty associations.

There are 9 companies participating this year with multiple product opportunities; Secret Garden Group, will showcase an extensive product range  from facial creams, shampoos, body oils to tanning lotions and sunscreen. Brand & Solutions, with cosmetics and personal care. EPIDERMIQUE, a dermatological laboratory will present their skin and hair care product line and their services. DLUCHI, with hair, skin bodycare, sunbath and makeup. Neroli, a designer of products for companies will offer fragrances, hand and body essentials, perfume and colognes and their manufacturing services. 

Kahai, will showcase their natural skin care and plant based protein as they are the first company in the world to industrialize a new amazon nut called “Cacay”.  Cannaxia Labs will offer their hair care products and their services for private levels. Blomer Style, a professional hairbrush manufacturing company will bring their hair tools and care essentials. And, Ritual Botanico, will present their hair care products created with the ancient wisdom of nature. 

Colombia has around 120 Free Trade Zones that are located near major seaports and airports, which reduce production costs. The same is true when it comes to the country’s strategic location, which facilitates excellent logistical air connectivity.

In 2023, cosmetics and toiletries exports reached US$ 628.3 million, with the United States alone receiving US$ 28.3 million worth of products. This growth reflects the sector's commitment to quality and innovation.

Colombia has 17 trade agreements with access to 29 countries, which favors a preferential tariff for exports. Leading companies in the industry such as L’oreal, J&J, P&G, and Unilever, among others, chose Colombia as an investment destination to produce beauty products, create laboratories and create production planta.
