One Young World
Young people transforming the world
Bogota hosted the meeting of young leaders, One Young World, which was held for the first time in Latin America and generated a space for discussion for representatives from more than 196 countries around issues such as poverty, economic growth, transparency, minorities, education, among others.
This event, held in October 2017 in which ProColombia supported from its recruitment to its execution, empowered young Colombians to generate projects that change the lives of people or communities. For this reason, Colombia was the right country to give a message of reconciliation and commitment to peace to the national and international community of the future.
Additionally, all the themes worked on during the event were developed in the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, supporting their dissemination and the importance of contributing to the fulfillment of these goals as an international objective.
