They will visit 76 companies from 11 regions in the country to get a first hand look at the export offering in each one in the fields of tourism, garments, agribusiness and manufacturing. This Thursday, PROCOLOMBIA will welcome them at the Windsor House hotel in Bogota.

This coming December 1 and 2, a group of over 150 entrepreneurs from the United States and Puerto Rico will be visiting the country, coming from the sectors of garments, agribusiness and manufacturing, to know the Colombian export offering.

The business people, invited by PROCOLOMBIA, will visit 76 Colombian companies from Bogota, Santander, the Coffee Triangle, Tolima, Valle del Cauca, Antioquia, Atlantico, Magdalena and Bolivar, the regions that will have business opportunities once the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries enters in force.

In the agribusiness sector, they will be able to see the Colombian offering in confections, cookies, fruits and fresh vegetables, frozen fruits, flowers and special coffees.
Garments buyers will visit companies that manufacture children's, sports and formal wear, leather accessories, uniforms, swimwear, underwear, jeans and footwear.
In the manufacturing industry, they will see products like auto parts, construction materials, furniture, medical devices and chemicals.

The welcoming ceremony for the entrepreneurs from the United States and Puerto Rico will be this Thursday, December 1st from 8:30 to 9:30 in the morning, in the Bond Club room at the Hotel Windsor House in Bogota, located at Calle 95 No.  9-97.

Moreover, during the same trip, 37 vacation and corporate tourism wholesalers will visit to learn about interesting tourism packages for travelers from the United States and Puerto Rico, to destinations like Bogota, Cartagena, the Coffee Triangle, Medelllin and Santa Marta.
