Cali and Valle del Cauca have a very important tourist and recreational offer to show their international visitors, especially around culture, religion and nature, the most representative holiday attractions in the region.

Cali is well known throughout the world as the "Capital of Salsa”. Caleños' passion for this musical genre is seen throughout the world at international fairs, dance schools and the show "Delirio”.

The city also offers night entertainment options at traditional places like Juanchito, Tin Tin Deo, and Zaperoco, among others, where visitors can enjoy a pleasant time dancing Salsa.

In fact, Cali's tourism potential was highlighted by The New York Times, which ranked the capital city of Valle del Cauca as tenth place among 41 worldwide destinations recommended to its readers, above emblematic cities like Antwerp (Belgium), Melbourne (Australia), Dresden (Germany), Singapore and Miami, among others.

This year, PROCOLOMBIA will support "Cali, Ciudad Divina – El Valle te llena de Gracia” (Cali, Divine City, Valle fills you with Grace), a touristic, religious, cultural and commercial promotion campaign intended to highlight the attractions of this naturally sweet, kind and warm region.

Between April 16th and 24th, four wholesalers and journalists coming from Puerto Rico, Peru, Ecuador and Mexico, invited by PROCOLOMBIA, will visit Cali to get to know the potential and tourist products the region has to offer.

The campaign will be launched during Holy Week, and will invite tourists to enjoy a variety of programs, including large processions, La Misa de Mi Pueblo (My People’s Mass Service), the Cali Arts Festival, the salsa show with Delirio, and presentations by the Valle Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.

Opportunities abroad
