The shows will be seen in the entire continent and will show the tourism offering and how the World Cup host cities have prepared to receive players and visitors alike.

A production team from the Argentine TV channel Fox Sports filmed the special “Pasión Juvenil Sub-20” on Wednesday in Barranquilla, to be seen throughout the entire continent this coming 29th of June.

The recording in the capital city of Atlántico is part of the series of programs to be produced by Fox Sports in Alliance with PROCOLOMBIA as part of the international promotion activities for tourists from around the continent to visit the country and enjoy the Under-20 FIFA World Cup, and get a firsthand look at the main destinations.

Through “Pasión Juvenil Sub-20” television viewers will have a look at the eight World Cup host cities, the tourism offering, mobility, stadiums, and how they have prepared to welcome visitors between the coming July 29th and August 20th.

The television special will be presented by Argentine journalist Walter Queijeiro. They will visit the Metropolitan Roberto Melendez stadium in Barranquilla, where they will interview Mayor Alejandro Char. Then, they will visit Museo del Caribe, Fundacion La Cueva (known for its cultural heritage, and being the place where the legendary Grupo de Barranquilla was formed around the mid-XX century). Near the end of the afternoon they will see the Casa del Carnaval, where they will meet beauty queen Marcela Davila, and to end the tour they will go to the Coco Beach disco club to get a taste of the city’s night life.

International tourism promotion around the Under-20 FIFA Soccer World Cup is supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism Promotion Fund. After recording in Barranquilla, the production team will move on to Cartagena, another host city of this major event.
