The Coffee Triangle is ready to receive charters from Guatemala

The region has been promoted as a tourism destination during the FIFA Under-20 World Cup. Eight teams out of 24 will be playing in Manizales and Armenia during the first phase of the event.

At least ten charter flights will be arriving in the Coffee Triangle from Guatemala, a country that is celebrating these days because for the first they will have a national soccer team participating in a World Cup: the Under-20 World Cup in Colombia.

This is one of the results of the region’s international promotion as a tourist destination during the FIFA Under-20 World Cup, to be played between July 29th and August 20th.

PROCOLOMBIA to meet with Coffee Triangle entrepreneurs this Wednesday

This is the third session to be held with companies in the country, after the successful “PROCOLOMBIA Encounters with the regions” in Barranquilla and Cali.

Sixty entrepreneurs established in the Coffee Triangle will meet this Wednesday, April 6th at 7:30 am at the Pereira Hotel Convention Center to participate in the “PROCOLOMBIA Encounters with the regions."

The President of PROCOLOMBIA, Maria Claudia Lacouture, will lead the encounter in order to strengthen the alliances and help foster international tourism, diversification and innovation of exports and the attraction of direct foreign investment into the region.
