Multinational investment fund will benefit SMEs with US$20 million.

In November 2020, the ANDES PLUS FUND I was launched, which seeks to benefit SMEs in Peru and Colombia, this fund has an initial capital of 20 million dollars, from a Dutch development fund and two European Family Offices.

In November 2020, the ANDES PLUS FUND I was launched, which seeks to benefit SMEs in Peru and Colombia. This fund has an initial capital of US$20 million from a Dutch development fund and two European Family Offices.

This fund focuses on INCLUSIVE COMPANIES in sustainable agribusiness, light manufacturing and crafts, which promote equal opportunities, gender equity and especially those that allow dignifying the working and living conditions of vulnerable communities in these two countries initially.

According to Jaime Ramírez, managing partner of Andes Impact Partners (AIP), manager and administrator of Andes Plus Fund I, “this fund has an impact investment approach using mezzanine debt instruments to support companies that are selling a minimum of one million dollars a year and whose business model generates income opportunities for vulnerable communities.

ProColombia will be in charge of accompanying and advising on the entire process of operation of this fund in our country.
