Six Colombian publishers to represent the country at the Bologna Book Fair

Six Colombian publishers will be on their way to Italy to meet literary agents from different countries and to sell their copyright at the Bologna Book Fair.

The companies will be located at the first Colombian exhibition stand ever at this fair, considered one of the most important fairs in the world in terms of children and teenagers&#39 literature sales.

The fair will be the gateway for European countries to learn about Colombian children&#39 s literature, the main reason why PROCOLOMBIA will coordinate the national company&#39 s participation.

The publishers attending are Gato Malo, En Tela, Panamericana Editorial, Rey Naranjo Editores, Tragaluz and Villegas Editores. The intent there will be to exhibit the country&#39 s exportable offering and to position Colombian literature and culture under a consolidated image as a leader in the Latin American industry.

The Bologna Book Fair will take place between March 19 and 22 at the Bologna Fiere. There will be 1,200 exhibitors from 66 countries and nearly five thousand international buyers.
