Colombia has risen three places in the latest World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Competitiveness Index to reach 66 of the 144 economies analysed.
Two key areas of improved performance identified by WEF in its latest report were Tech Prep and Infrastructure, in which the country rose by 19 and eight positions respectively.
Colombia also performed strongly in the three core sub-indices measured by the study, climbing five places in the Innovation and Sophistication Factors, two in Basic Requirements and one in Factors that Improve Efficiency.
