600 entrepreneurs from the United States will participate in seminars on the FTA with Colombia

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism and Proexport will hold simultaneous seminars on May 15 in nine cities and in Puerto Rico.

Approximately 600 U.S. entrepreneurs, all potential importers of Colombian products, will learn this May 15 about their business opportunities and the advantages of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Colombia, which will come into effect on that day.

Distributed throughout nine cities and in Puerto Rico, U.S. entrepreneurs will attend a seminar with the participation of the Vice minister of Trade, Gabriel Duque, the Colombian Ambassador in the United States, Gabriel Silva, and officials from PROCOLOMBIA, who will be in charge of presenting the business opportunities that they will have with the FTA:

The meetings will begin at 9:00 am in Miami, Atlanta, New York, Washington, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Puerto Rico.

During the event, questions from U.S. entrepreneurs will be answered through presentations about the advantages and business opportunities in the sectors of agro-industry, clothing and manufacturing. There will also be testimonials from entrepreneurs with experience in Colombia.

In addition to the benefits of the Agreement, Colombia will be shown as a key ally in the region, with a strategic geographical location and an offer of quality and added value.
