Online this Thursday, seminar on the opportunities for clothing in the FTA with the U.S.A.

The event will take place in Pereira with exporters from the sector and will be streamed online starting at 9:00 am on the Proexport Colombia website.

Colombian clothing exporters will learn key aspects and business opportunities with the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States at a seminar given in Pereira, but that will be transmitted online for all of the entrepreneurs throughout the rest of the country.

The event will take place this May 17 at the Hotel Movich of Pereira starting at 9:00 am, and is organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism and PROCOLOMBIA, together with strategic allies such as Inexmoda, Acicam, the Program for Productive Transformation and the Chamber of Commerce.

The entrepreneurs will learn first-hand about market niches for undergarments and bathing suits, sportswear, apparel for the home, male undergarments, jeans, girdles and shapewear, hosiery, casual wear and uniforms.

Subjects will be presented such as the technical aspects of the negotiation, source standards, transition from the Atpdea to the TLC, distribution channels and the contractual and corporate impact of free trade agreements.

At the end of the day, the participants will be able to personally meet with the experts to have any questions answered and receive consultation on specific subjects.
