Expoconstruction and Expodesign 2011

Expoconstruction and Expodesign 2011 invite buyers to attend its XI International Fair in Bogota, from May 24-29, 2011.

A setting for the projection and growth of the construction, architecture, and design sectors of the Andean, Central American and Caribbean regions, this specialized international fair serves as a platform for exhibitors, buyers, and visitors to generate important contacts and learn the latest on sustainability and innovation.

As a leader in tradeshow activities, Corferias, the International Business and Exhibition Center S.A., seeks to promote commercial and cultural exchange at a national and international level. The Colombian Government organizes the platform as a gathering for potential buyers, which include some of the most important businessmen, professionals and organizers of the sector, such as architects, engineers, designers, decorators, industrial designers, and manufacturers of building materials.

Among the 57,000 visitors, 700 buyers, and 440 exhibitors expected this year, Expoconstruction and Expodesign 2011 will host special guests with directive and decision-making posts, potential clients, and commercial missions from South and Central America, the Caribbean, United States, and Canada. This event is also opened to the public interested in the sector.

Participants have the opportunity to learn about the novelties in building materials, design, project developments, equipment, supplies, products and services related to the sector in the Andean Region, Central America, and the Caribbean. Additionally, the platform offers a series of conferences, seminars, workshops, and contests as part of the fair&rsquo s academic programming towards sustainability and innovation.

Every two years, Expoconstruction and Expodesign 2011 serve as a platform to generate business and important contacts among exhibitors, buyers, and visitors. Exhibitors and buyers can benefit in establishing important contacts with continuing and/or new clients, maintaining, consolidating, and positioning their brand and image in the target market, and consolidation of strategies for expansion, positioning, exporting or penetration of new markets by participating in international business exchanges.
