Colombian will offer digital content and software development in Toronto

150 entrepreneurs from the South American country will have appointments with 120 Canadian buyers during the International Business Matchmaking forum

On October 27 and 28, Canadians interested in expanding their network of business contacts and service portfolios, either in the production of digital content or software, may do so during an International Business Matchmaking Forum to be held in Toronto.

The Fairmont Royal York Hotel will bring together 120 Canadian companies with 150 Colombian exporters, who will arrive in the country offering quality services at competitive prices.

The meeting is organized by PROCOLOMBIA, the entity entrusted with the international promotion of tourism, investment and exports, and will aim to strengthen trade relations between the two countries, not just in the services sector but also the agribusiness, garments and manufacturing sectors.

In addition, it will take advantage of the Free Trade Agreement recently entered into between the two countries, in force since August 15, which allowed zero-tariff entry of a number of Colombian products.

Those interested in the business meeting will have a chance to do business in digital animation, video games, mobile applications, 3D, and software for education, training, medical simulations, business applications, e-learning and web marketing, and others.

Colombia' s technological development, as well as the quality of its work force, will cause a good impression on Canadians interested in these services.

The country has the third largest number of universities in Latin America (126), there are on average 49,000 graduates every year in Management and Engineering and nine thousand graduates per year in Computer-related careers.
