Colombian Exhibit at Fitur 2013, Focuses on Nature and Adventure Lovers

Colombia's natural wealth, which invites tourists to contemplate nature and live adventure at the same time, boasts its attractions at the 33rd FITUR, where it hopes to conquer entrepreneurs and tourists with experiences that are close to the real thing.

The adrenaline rush of the rapids and the tranquility of the Colombian mountains will be in the Spanish capital for the 2013 Fitur audience to both learn about and enjoy the experiences that the nation has to offer, to meet the interests of foreign tourists.

Nature and adventure products, which are increasingly craved by international travelers, occupy a special place at Colombia's stand, which offers wholesalers, travel agents and tourists the chance to experience the intensity of what one can only feel after crossing the Atlantic.

One of these experiences is to ride a raft along the mighty rivers of Colombia. The recreation of this experience, using a moving raft, lets you feel the typical vertigo of rafting, a sport whose practice attracts hundreds of foreigners to different regions every year.

Even the most seasoned explorers will not miss any of the elements of sport also known as canoeing, because even the intense sound of the water and the oars hitting the rocks will be with them on this trip.

For those who are into less audacious activities but still want to enjoy nature, the Colombian exhibit at the Fair has a virtual bicycle tour through the most beautiful spots of its natural parks (mountains, waterfalls and beaches).

The 360º video provides explorers with a comprehensive view of the parks which contain more than fifty flora and fauna sanctuaries in Colombia, and some of these are inhabited by indigenous communities that maintain their cultural customs.

Sun and Sand

The sun and the beautiful Colombian beaches are also represented in the event, which has been bringing together key figures from the tourism sector all over the world for more than three decades. The invitation, on this occasion, is to learn about the country's marine diversity "by playing".

Mobile holograms of the fish that live in the Colombian Caribbean and Pacific will surround and interact with those that join in the voyage through more than 700 meters of the stand, which exhibits what Colombia has to offer tourists. Hundreds of people are expected to attend the stand, including end customers (tourists) and specific audiences.
