'Colombia, Magical Realism', One of the Most Watched Videos on YouTube

Proexport´s new international tourism campaign videos have received more than 275 thousand views on social network sites, and one of them was reported as being among the most popular of the week.

The video that promotes the friendliness and customer service of Colombians, which is a part of the new tourism campaign strategy, ' Colombia, Magical Realism' , was included by YouTube in the list of its most popular videos of the week.

In eight days, this promotional piece achieved more than 141,592 views in the United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Philippines and the Netherlands, etc.

Eighty per cent of the people who shared the video did so on their Facebook page, thirteen per cent on Twitter, and the remainder on other social network sites, such as Google + and LinkedIn.

The first videos that are being shown abroad to increase the number of international tourists to Colombia have been viewed more than 275 thousand times in total.

Likewise, more than 28,152 users have interacted with the graphic pieces displayed on Colombia Travel´ s Facebook page and PROCOLOMBIA´ s tourism web page. The Coffee Cultural Landscape message appeared in the timelines of 372,224 users.
The international campaign to promote tourism in Colombia was launched last Wednesday. ' Colombia, Magical Realism' will become the work tool for the sectors&rsquo enterepreneurs, allowing them to attract more foreign visitors.
