The Coffee Triangle will have a powerful worldwide promotion tool

This is a new internet portal that will allow the region to increase its international exposure and increase the number of international tourists arriving every year.

This Wednesday the 6th of April at 10 am, PROCOLOMBIA will launch a new official travel portal to the Coffee Triangle which will allow the region to increase the number of visiting international tourists.

The event will take place at the Pereira Hotel Convention Center, with the presence of the authorities from the Government of Risaralda, Quindio and Caldas, as well as the Mayor's Offices from the cities of Pereira, Armenia and Manizales, as well as Cotelco.

The portal www.triangulodelcafe.travel will be a tool prepared by PROCOLOMBIA with the support of the various regional institutions promoting international tourism.

According to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism, Pereira, Armenia and Manizales rank 10, 11 and 12 respectively within the preferred destinations by international tourists in 2010.

Per the report, 16,509 international tourists arrived in Pereira last year, 6,676 in Armenia and 5,651 in Manizales.
