Originating from eleven countries, 35 international buyers will be present at Plataforma K, the most important fashion exhibit in the Colombian Caribbean.
The international entrepreneurs will arrive in Barranquilla, invited by PROCOLOMBIA and the local Chamber of Commerce. They will visit the exhibition stands of nearly 80 Colombian designers participating at the fair between March 6th and 8th, at the Cultural Coliseum of Universidad del Norte and the Barranquilla Country Club.
Per country of origin, there is a noteworthy participation by the United States with the largest delegation of entrepreneurs, including boutique, shop and department store owners.
The mission also includes buyers from Chile and the Caribbean, a group made up of companies from the Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Puerto Rico and Aruba.
Similarly, there will be participants from Guatemala, Mexico, Ecuador and Costa Rica the natural markets for the offering on display at this fair. Moreover, there will be an important participation from buyers from Canada, who will be attending Plataforma K for the first time.
The almost 80 designers will be located at the Universidad del Norte cultural complex, at exhibition stands designed to welcome international buyers who are interested in high value-added clothing design.
Among other design offerings, there will be casual and formal apparel for men and women, swimwear and accessories like leather, imitation jewelry and authentic jewelry.
The runways will exhibit designs by Maaji, Jon Sonen, Amulette, Adriana Contreras, Polite, Agua Bendita, Argemiro Sirra and Beatriz Camacho.
