178 International Buyers will visit Latin-American and Caribbean Business Matchmaking Forum in the city of Bucaramanga

They will be able to conduct business with 497 Colombian exporters from 17 registered departmental provinces during the encounter to take place this coming May 11th and 12th.

Domestic exporters from the clothing, agro-industry, manufacturing and consumables sectors will have the opportunity to internationalize their products and enter new markets at Latin-American and Caribbean Business Matchmaking Forum, to be held this week in the city of Bucaramanga.

Colombian entrepreneurs from 17 provincial departments will display their export offer to 178 international buyers from 150 companies attending the event, to be held between May 11th and 12th at the Fair, Exhibition and Convention Center (Centro de Ferias, Exposiciones y Convenciones &ndash CENFER) at the capital city of Santander.

The encounter, organized by PROCOLOMBIA and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism, is intended to promote Colombian exports through the diversification of international markets and country promotion.

Buyers from a total of 17 countries will be visiting. Netherlands Antilles, Barbados Brazil Chile Costa Rica Mexico Ecuador El Salvador Guatemala Honduras Jamaica Panama Peru Puerto Rico Dominican Republic Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago.

Each participant will have 40-minute scheduled meetings to expose their offering to the international buyers.

The national presence will be represented by 497 exporters from 371 companies where Cundinamarca and Bogota will have the largest representation with 101, followed by Santander with 77 and Antioquia with 61.

41 exporters will participate from Norte de Santander, 25 from Valle del Cauca 17 from Atlantico 14 from Risaralda 11 from Caldas 6 from Tolima five from Bolí var   three from Magdalena and Cesar respectively two from Cauca and Sucre respectively and one from Boyacá , Nariñ o and Quindí o.

The international delegations will include Mexico with 31 entrepreneurs, followed by Costa Rica with 22 and Ecuador with 18.
